National Massage Therapy Week celebrates the massage therapy profession. Also known as National Massage Therapy Awareness Week, the week promotes the many benefits of therapeutic massage, including:
Pain Relief
Reduced anxiety
Improved sleep
Resetting the relaxation response
Increased range of motion
Reduced chemotherapy-related nausea
Eased symptoms of depression
Improved cardiovascular health
Lowered blood pressure
Reduced headache pain & also frequency of migraines
Hands of Grace will be kicking off National Massage Therapy Awareness Week with
Every BODY Deserves a Massage Contest Do you know someone who you feel deserves a massage, but either can't afford it, or wouldn't take time for themselves because they're always serving others?
Write a short essay telling us about the person you'd like to nominate, send your essay to Hands of Grace and we'll draw a winner November 30, 2022. Entries must be submitted by midnight 11/23/22.
